Rome - day 1

We woke up on our travel day wednesday to see fresh snow on the streets of Horb! A big day travelling and we found ourselves in a lovely apartment in Rome! day 1 in Rome involved the re-uniting of cousins Caleb and Sally, the discovery that we live about 200 metres from the Colosseum, and a lovely stroll along the streets - to discover that an amazing and significant archaeological site and old building exists on every corner. Unfortunately we were ripped off by a dodgy restaurant which served pita bread pizzas and were obviously out there to fool tourists like us. We won't be doing that again!
