Day in Zurich

We woke to below freezing temperatures and jumped on a 2 hour train ride to Zurich. Amos introduced us to a math's friend in Zurich called Ulrich and they gave us a tour of the 'old town'.
Zurich is a cool city - the most expensive city in the world to live in apparently. And it was pretty darn expensive too (we later realised that we had the conversion rate wrong so its not as bad as we thought).
Large clocks, Ulrich Zwingli, the Lake and the view of the mountains were all highlights. However the Lindt chocolate factory proved to be a bit of a let down. We had expected a tour of the factory, a museum and lots of freebies. However we were told that none of these things were available - and we had to content ourselves with some purchases in their shop. Still, it was good to have been there - at the source of the Lindt, and as we walked around the grounds the air did smell good!
