Amos and Beatrix's house

We've been staying with Amos and Beatrix which has been lots of fun and they have been very generous feeding us, showing us around and entertaining Caleb!!! We celebrated St Nicolas day with them, and if you can see in the photo below we woke in the morning to find our shoes filled with chocolates, fruit and nuts!! This was followed by a yummy breakfast of tasty German breads, meat and cheese - a most pleasing tradition - why haven't we adopted this one in Australia yet??
