Exercise Class

Mum and I went back to those exercise classses, I had my own mat this time so i could wave my hands and legs around too!! Here's a photo of us working out, I actually had fun!!

We went on a great picnic to Jones' beach in Kiama while we were staying with mum and dad. It was a beautiful day - Caleb got some good time in the sun and on the grass!

Dapto Weekend with Caleb

This weekend we went to Dapto to hang out with the relos (there are heaps of them down there!) - it was fun! I decided i was ready to grace the world with my smiles and what better place to do that than dapto! Mum and Dad are calling it the happiest weekend of my life. We also caught up with some friends that mum and dad had before i came along - i didn't know they had any friends before me but there you go, you learn something new everyday, and if your my age everything you learn is new. That's why i took a while to smile, there is a lot to figure out about this world and all those funny faces that keep coming right up close and making various noises in my personal space. But so far i think this worlds pretty cool, and that marvelous place called dapto is certainly worth a visit!

And this is me in my hoodie - mum keeps dressing me up in all sorts of gear, something about looking cute, i think she forgets that i'm a boy like daddy and i don't even notice what i'm wearing.

Oh i'm thinking about what my first words will be because apparently they are important. It's not for a while yet i think but there are a lot of words to consider so i'm starting now. What do you think about bunglow?

I got a tent!!

Hey check this out - i got a tent. It's for me to sleep in when we go places. I think it's groovy!!

Also Auntie Deb is taking me camping with mum and grandma and grandpa. Sounds fun i reckon even though i have no idea what camping is - but if they like it, then i'm sure it's ok. Athough dad said he can't come, something about doing an essay - so that makes me wonder what i'm getting myself in for...

A word from Caleb

Mum hasn't figured out that your actually meant to write stuff on these blog things instead of just posting photos so i guess i'd better give you the low-down on what's going on. Mum and Dad have started calling me fatty - i'm not sure what that means but Mum said that if i keep growing at this rate i won't have to learn to walk i can just roll everywhere (maybe I'll make it to Ayers Rock!!). Apparently i weigh 4.95kg now which everyone seems pleased about, but they think it's funny that i haven't grown much taller, i think i'm 52.5cm now.

Mum and i went to the beach yeterday - we didn't go in the water, but sometime soon Mum is going to take me swimming - it looks like fun and if it's anything like bath time i'm there!

Mum took me to these crazy exercise classes at the hospital - it was a bit scary being in a room filled with other mummies lying on the ground moving their arms and legs around. i joined in a bit but i felt a bit weird because i was the only boy joining in. They say it's good for you but i'm not convinced yet, mum looked tired out. i think we'll go again next week so i'll let you know how it goes...

Hmm not much else to report, mum and dad keep telling me to smile - i do every so often but i'm trying to keep them guessing by following my half smiles with a frown or cry.

Anyway hope you like my photos - they are meant to show how big i'm getting now, i'm almost 7 weeks old. Hi to all those relatives that live in other places that we don't get to see - i miss you all!!!
